So I went this website where you upload a pic of your self and it shows you what it would look like if you lost a certain amount of weight. It’s kinda cool actually.

Has been tough the past few days, stressed out with life and have been eating poorly.
One sorta good sign I saw last night was a raging thirst I had for water and nothing else. It’s not much, but any sign of cravings for healthful things is good in my book.

Today’s calorie total = 3301
MyFitnessPal has my calorie cap set at approx. 2990, so I went a bit over that, but I still came in -500 calories from my previously measured daily average, so I’m taking it as a win.

Day 6 Calorie Count
Total = 3860
I’m supposed to track my calories for 7 days before taking the average and subtracting 500 calories to get my calorie cap, but I’m to impatient. Let’s see what my average intake has been for the past 6 days:
22,992 / 6 = 3832
3832 - 500 = 3332
3332 = 90 day calorie cap
This is definitely doable seeing as I already came in under this number for 2 of the 6 days....

In addition to removing sugar sodas, I need to start consuming primarily foods with lower calorie densities. I know I have a predilection to over-eating, so quelling that urge by snacking on more veggies and maybe making a salad mandatory with meals at home would be a good way to fill up with out piling on the calories.

Day 5 Calorie Count
Today’s total = 3180
Pretty good day. The food choices weren’t the best, but far from the worst. I also had good discipline in portion control until dinner. The foods I ate for dinner were solid choices being far less calorie dense than the snack foods we had during the football game.
More thoughts on today’s foods later…

Day 4 Calorie Intake
Yesterday’s total = 4016 <- oof.
Though I’m not surprised and my average intake is shaping up to be right about where I expected it to be. There is a pretty simple method to figure out how many calories you take in on average, just take your current weight and put a zero on the end of it.

Crash Landing

Keeping with my commitment I’m posting my caloric intake for the day.
